2022 AUTUS BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTS

Despite this year being turbulent and uncertain, we are pleased that Autus has gone from strength to strength. Below, we share a few of the business highlights for 2022.

After leasing premises in the Vineyards Office Estate (VOE) for many years, an opportunity arose to purchase Cabernet House, a stand-alone building within the VOE. After renovating the premises to the same standard as the Val de Vie head Office, this prestigious office is the new and permanent Autus home. Since October this year, we have welcomed clients for meetings and annual reviews and look forward to enjoying great coffee and engaging interactions with our clients for years to come.

THE AUTUS WAY

We spent a significant amount of time this year reviewing our business processes. This hard work results from an internal process blueprint called "The Autus Way," which clearly describes how we onboard, engage and deliver excellent service to clients. A key feature of our new approach is the oversight that more than one Wealth Advisor has over the financial planning affairs of each client. This approach builds continuity into our system and gives clients peace of mind.

Effective client communication is a cornerstone of our process. Thus, for compliance purposes, all instructions must be communicated to us either telephonically or via email to admin@autus.co.za. Instructions sent by clients via WhatsApp will not be accepted.

OUR PEOPLE

Our dedicated staff is the driver of excellent client service. We are pleased to celebrate with Suné Bezuidenhout, Dawie Conradie, Anja van Niekerk and Desirée Mattheus their ten-year-long service anniversaries. We thank them for their positive impact on Autus and our clients and look forward to having them as team members for years to come. Allan Geldenhuys resigned this year, and we wish him well with his future endeavours. We congratulate Rory van Bergen on his appointment as a Portfolio Manager with Autus Fund Managers and Hester Mostert as a Director of Autus Private Clients.

AUTUS FOUNDATION

We believe that the impact we make on other people's lives is what matters. As part of the many community support initiatives, the Autus team had the privilege of visiting Huis Andries Olivier to hand over blankets to the residents and staff during the chilly winter. We also supported local enterprises and projects that positively impacted the lives of people facing difficult economic and social situations. We continue to contribute and support small NPO entities monthly through contributions from the Autus Foundation.
